A squint can affect visual acuity as well as the appearance of a child or adult.

I had a clinic assistant who had a squint in her right eye which appeared as though she was secretly looking at you.

Because of that appearance she had difficulty in finding work.

Knowing that the squint was not her fault, I employed her to help out in the clinic work.

She had no problem in doing clinic work.

She also had problem getting a husband.
